TBQ Video Highlights - Evo Mini Soccer |
|
Think Big Qatar paid a visit to the Evo training ground at the weekend and were delighted to see so many youngsters enjoying their football - so much so that they decided to film the whole things and make video highlights of our games. Players in the Under 7, 8, 9 and 10 Lions teams treated TBQ to a show of excellence, even performing post match interviews for the onlooking visitors. TBQ will be making the visit a regular thing, and posting edited video's of the matches each week on their website - www.thinkbigqatar.com.

 James Mwale said:
"We at Evolution Sports are committed to prividing all young people, no matter what age, ability or gender a tailor made experience in a variety of activities which help them lead a healthy lifestye. With an emphasis put on this, I am very inspired by the amount of interest we have received for our girl's-only football sessions. This goes to prove that as long as opportunities and support are provided for people, a heathy and active regime isn't difficult to achieve. We at Evolution Sports aim to continue to expand and September 2013 will see us introduce even more new sports courses. Watch this space!"

Evo Players represent the new Heir Apparent Cup Champions as mascots.. |

Evolution Soccer players selected to represent Lekwhiya as player mascots during the Heir Apparent Cup Final
Following on from last week’s Heir Apparent Cup semi-final when Evo’s Under 9 and 10 players were selected to represent the winning team Al Sadd, they were this time selected as mascots for the eventual winners of the final Lekhwiya. During an unusually stormy afternoon in Doha the young mascots showed great attitudes and were part of a once in a lifetime opportunity to lead out a team in a major cup final.
After the players had done their jobs as mascots it was down to the professionals to do their job on the field. Both teams didn’t fail to excite the crowed as Saturday’s epic final saw Lekwhiya come back from a 1-0 deficit and beat Al Sadd 3-2 to become the newly crowned Heir Apparent Cup Champions.
James Mwale Evolution Sports Community Development Officer said:
“Once again the Evolution Soccer player mascots did a great job and they were a credit to not only themselves but to Lekhwiya, their parents and to Evolution Sports. Again these types of opportunities are great to offer the young players at our club as they get to meet players who they aspire to be like.
